Ok so you wanna be a rock n roll star? Well if you have ever fancied playing guitar now's your chance .

Electric guitar, acoustic guitar or bass guitar.

I can give lessons in Rock , Pop, Metal, Blues and most mixes of the above.....beginners always welcome. All ages welcome 6 to 90. lessons are taken with me at my home studio. I can also help with choice of equipment and stage craft... If your after taking exams etc.. I'm not really for you.

I also welcome people with learning difficulties or disabled I have a few pupils with such problems but I am willing to work with them to try and find the rock .

I also do a evening class from time to time at the Field lane society in Southend , a home for people with learning difficulties :)

some common questions answered...

How and where :

Lessons are given at my home studio between 10am till late Monday to Saturday . I am in Pitsea, Basildon Essex.

All you need to bring to the lesson is your guitar (amps, cables etc.. provided ) but I can lend you a guitar for the lesson if you let me know in advance .You will also need a folder to keep the notes I will give you in.

Prices;

Peak times (after 4pm Monday to Friday and all weekend)

One hour lesson £20

30min lesson  £12

Daytime  (10am till 4 pm Monday to Friday) only £15 per hour

30min lesson  £8

Payment in cash or cheque only.

Bookings
Lessons must be paid for on the day, but need only to be booked one at a time, for a specific day and time. Most students average one lesson per week, some fortnightly, others monthly. This will be entirely up to you.

Lessons will always begin and end at the arranged time regardless of the student's arrival time. If the student arrives late for a lesson the full lesson fee will still be due. Please unless arranged with me in advance don't turn up early there are is no waiting area.

Cancellation Policy
 48 hours notice (not 24 hours) is required or you will have to pay a cancellation fee of 50% .(there are no exceptions to this)  If you cant reach me leave a message! If you email me please put "guitar lessons" or something along those lines in the subject. I don't answer email from people I don't know! Anyone not turning up for a lesson and not contacting me within 48 hours may loose their slot as I may give it to a new client . (I wont chase you to find out what's the problem) There will be no charge if the lesson can be rescheduled for the same week. If for any reason I cannot keep my appointment with you, I will reschedule your lesson at a mutually convenient time .
